The growth and sustainability of Shango-Ja was assisted by highly able seniors and other consistent Karatekas who used their leadership skills to initiate dojos and training camps over the years. Men such as Nicholas Vandy 1st Dan who led training with enthusiasts at FBC University in the late 1980's. Brian Conton 1st Dan, Pastor Tunde Williams 3rd Dan, Patrick Manua 5th Dan and Gwyn Allen 3rd Dan all of whom have given decades of commitment in the development of Martial Arts in Sierra Leone and West Africa.
